Older dogs see longer waits for adoption in Boulder

Boulder County is a doggie haven, and the local shelter a perfect destination for homeless pooches facing euthanasia. But since Boulder's Humane Society began participating in a Rescue Waggin' program which relocates pets from overcrowded shelters to 'destination' communities the abundance of animals has left some dogs at the shelter for longer than normal.
